1) Ski boots form part of the passengers normal baggage allowance of 20kg hold and 5kg hand baggage. 2) Ski’s carriage is charged at £30 per pair of skis or snow-board. 3) No meal is provided but passengers may ‘buy on-board’.
Transfer to Vaujany is by coach reserved exclusively for Ski Peak. The journey takes approximately 1½ hours but possibly more during bad weather.

Summer

Being a village resort Vaujany is as near perfection as you can get in the summer with a host of useful facilities whilst still a rural idyll. During the summer we offer our La Villette properties on a self-catering basis albeit with a rep at hand to provide some guidance. Saskia however, being our flagship property, is catered and fully staffed during July and August and if you appreciate fine cuisine spiced with mountain activities then this surely is the holiday for you. As Marcus (the chef) would say...Enjoy!

June ‘Cycling Package’ Chalet Saskia guests only Full-board We have negotiated a great deal for our cycle enthusiasts. After a long day in the saddle, simply make it back to the Hotel Douce Montagne in Allemont (before the Vaujany climb) and you’ll be greeted by a fresh and filling pasta meal (late lunch). Even better, we’ll send a member of staff with a van to pick you up, saving those legs for the next day! Set off down the hill in the morning, 10 minutes to the Hydro Electric plant at Le Verney. Choose between the many amazing climbs: The Col de Glandon, Col de Croix de Fer, Alpe d’Huez, La Berarde, Lautaret and Galibier etc. Return in the afternoon to The Douce Montagne, Allemont, for your ‘pasta’ meal before collection by our rep and the minibus shuttle service back to Chalet Saskia. Offer at a glance: JUNE only €68 per night. Includes: breakfast and dinner in Chalet Saskia, pasta meal in Allemont, a lift back up the hill. Use of the large Saskia garage for safe, dry bike storage, tinkering and fettling. Minimum 4 nights booking JULY only €78 for the same deal. *This offer applies to Chalet Saskia guests only, during June and early July.
