A
well established traditional village hotel, the Rissiou
has a two star rating in the well-known French accommodation
bible 'Logis de France'. Staffed and managed by Ski Peak for
the past twenty Winter seasons, it has become a firm favourite
with many guests who return year after year to enjoy its inviting
and nostalgic atmosphere.
Our team of friendly, knowledgeable staff
add to the relaxed and informal ambience. Your comfort is
their number one priority and even your smallest requirements
are not too much trouble.
The Rissiou's daily menu starts with a healthy,
energising buffet breakfast. Sandwiches are available from
the bar if you happen to be back at lunchtime and a tempting,
four-course dinner (fixed menu) is served with a subtle blend
of tradition and inspiration. A comprehensive wine list comprises
wines from all over the Gallic hexagon.
The typical French hotel bar is frequently
visited by many of the local villagers, who add character
to the timeless surroundings.

When
warm Spring conditions prevail, the large sun terrace becomes
increasingly popular for the magnificent sunsets.
With twenty rooms, the warm and friendly
atmosphere means it's easy to meet other guests and tables
are often joined for dinner. Supper for the children is served
at about 6pm prior to the adults' dinner at 8pm. There is
a sauna in which to relax those aching limbs and the TV room
and separate games room with table-tennis, pool and table-football
provide ample distraction for the children.
Because of the great location The Hotel Rissiou benefits
from a huge choice of different activities available all year
round including the nearby sports complex with a 25m indoor
heated swimming pool, gym, Jacuzzis and saunas, as well as
being only a 2minute walk from the main lift station.
