Chalet Rostaing - La Villette
Set off the quiet road leading through La Villette, Rostaing's size makes it a good option for larger groups. The building has been meticulously restored from it's former pastoral dilapidation and incorporates many of the original features. It oozes character and charm with an abundance of wood and grey mountain stone. The former milking parlour is now a spacious dining room with the original vaulted ceiling still intact. Restaurant standard cuisine and a supurb dining ambience make for a fitting climax to the day. Log fires crackle in the cosy lounge as well as the dining room. The lounge leads to a pleasant verandah room and if you just want to relax during the day there's plenty of balcony space and an adjoining garden to soak up some Alpine sunshine.

From the sun-soaked veranda room, take in the panorama of the mountains and the La Fare waterfall. There is parking alongside the chalet and you have the use of a store-room for bicycles and other outdoor equipment.

Nearby is the restaurant 'Le Chardon Bleu' plus many more in nearby Vaujany along with two sets of shops linked by an escalator for your convenience.
In Summer there is a little train that takes you around the village of Vaujany, back up to La Villette and to the tennis courts and play ground.

La Villette is at the half-way station of the gondola from Vaujany. In Winter our minibus shuttle service takes you to the main lift station. Snow conditions permitting, you can ski back to within walking distance of your own front door.
