Schools skiing - Stay at the Hotel Rissiou We are proposing the 6th January and 13th April for our special schools skiing weeks in The Rissiou. The Hotel has 20 rooms and can accommodate between 40 and 50 people. It is the perfect place to enjoy your holiday in Vaujany being a short walk from the lift station and our team of friendly, knowledgeable staff are there to help every step of the way. The Rissiou’s daily menu starts with a healthy, energising buffet breakfast. The TV room and games room with bar-football, pool and table-tennis provide ample entertainment for children. There is a separate children’s supper complete with puddings and juices prior to the gourmet adult evening meal. The hotel has many communal areas which mean children are not restricted to their bedrooms and are free to play around the hotel. There is also a sauna for the adults to relax in after they get back from a good day’s skiing with our ski leaders.

Travel

A complimentary piste guiding service for good intermediates provided by our three specially appointed ski leaders will ensure you have the best days skiing possible and eat at all the right places, all in time to meet the kids at the end of the day.

Minibus shuttle
A minibus shuttle operates within the village and between La Villette & Vaujany for all our guests to take you to and from the lift station, as well as swimming, ice skating and to get your equipment!

ENTERTAINMENT For older pupils: The Swallow Bar nightclub offers pool, table-football and big screen ski videos whilst Arsen s Café is a stylish bar with television (for the rugby) and Chez Peter s, the rum bar, has broadband internet connection with WiFi. Ice skating: Vaujany’s free open-air ice rink is a popular attraction, open daily from 4.00-7.00pm throughout most of the season. There is a small charge for skate hire.

Sports centre & swimming pool: The modern sports complex has a 25m indoor heated swimming pool, with a slide and a neighbouring paddling pool.
